The company A. Liebetruth & Wieland, founded 1872 in Nuremberg, has gained greatest experience during its more than 130 years of operation in the production of fine-pigmented transparent and opaque watercolours of highest quality. All these products became well-known and popular under the brand name “angora” throughout the whole world.

Based on that great experience and know-how we, the company Draw.TEC, continue the production of watercolours and the development since 2012. We offer a wide range of products, including high quality watercolours especially for children and school as well as artists’ colours. These colours are produced in the metropolitan area of Nuremberg and were marketed worldwide under our brands “angora” and “FINETEC”.

As a manufacturer of colour products we bear a special responsibility in relation to product safety and health requirements. In order to properly meet this responsibility we use exclusively high-quality raw materials and pigments of well-known and mostly German suppliers. The company owner does the product development and the adaption to the latest state of the technology by himself. As he has a diploma in chemical engineering he brings the best qualifications for these tasks.

The outstanding quality, colour intensity and brilliance of our watercolours “Made in Germany” inspire people all over the world in painting and creating with great enthusiasm. In order to assure the standard of our quality a 100 % quality control is carried out during the assembling of the watercolour sets.

Our watercolours are certified by ART & CREATIVE MATERIALS INSTITUTE (ACMI) and conform to ASTM D-4236.
We combine passion for colours with responsibility – also in our function as a qualified OEM supplier of well-known companies.
